Part 1 – Online Distance Learning

  • Self-paced modules (80 hours)
  • Covers assessment, treatment planning, orthotic theory, diabetes care, and practice management
  • Interactive assignments, quizzes (80% pass rate), and written competencies
  • Instructor support via phone, email, or video conference

    Part 2 – In-Person 5-Day Lab (40 Hours) 499 material fee due when you are ready for lab time (within 6 months of distance learning)

  • Held in Mesa, Arizona at Arizona AFO Inc. May 14-18, July, September and November
  • Hands-on workshops in gait analysis, casting, orthotic fabrication, and shoe modifications
  • Small-group training with real-time feedback and competency checks
  • Final exam (80% pass required) leading to a Certificate of Completion
