11 Orthotic Fitter Video Instruction - Lower Extremity AFO, PRAFO, Night Splint, Foot Unloader

INSTRUCTIONS:

This video will help prepare you as a candidate for certification under BOC guidelines as entry level education for Orthotic Fitter. This video instruction has been approved as a prerequisite course of online study by BOC.

You are required to have proof of patient care experience to be eligible to take the exam. While education is fundamental to learning your practice skills, the patient care experience you bring to the exam is indispensable.

Review the video material and take the quiz by clicking on the icon to start the exam. It is required to pass the exam with a score of 80% or better. All video instruction and proof of fitting competencies must be completed and submitted within 14 days of video instruction assignment. Proof of fitting competencies must be via google drive, dropbox or another form of multiple electronic file delivery. The live face-to-face lab to complete the Orthotic Fitter Course is temporarily replaced by video instruction and proof of your competency when fitting devices. Once distance learning, video instruction and proof of competency are complete, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for the entire course.
