Post Mastectomy Prosthetic Care

The Introduction to Post Mastectomy Prosthetic Care course is an interactive multimedia module intended to take approximately one hour to complete online. This course is intended for those individuals who do not have a background in post mastectomy care, but wish to learn more about breast cancer basics, post mastectomy options, and what a certified mastectomy fitter's role is.

By the end of this course the learner should be able to:

  • Recall the basics of breast cancer.
  • Identify options for post mastectomy care.
  • Understand what a certified mastectomy fitter does.

NOTE: The study material for this course includes audio content - headphones or speakers will be required.
