Introduction to Off the Shelf Orthopedic Bracing - Orthotic Fitting

The Introduction to Off The Shelf Orthopedic Bracing course is an interactive multimedia module intended to take approximately one hour to complete online. This course is intended for those individuals who do not have a background in orthotics, but wish to learn more about what off the shelf orthoses are and what a certified orthotic fitter's role is.

By the end of this course the learner should be able to:

• Define what an off the shelf orthosis is.
• Identify options for off the shelf orthotic care.
• Understand what a certified orthotic fitter does.
