Contracture Management

This course was developed by John Kenny, BOCO - Vice President, Ongoing Care Solution - NeuroFlex. The course covers the management of patients with contractures. You will learn how to correctly assess & document a patient's condition and learn decision making methods based on contracture etiology. The course will cover the selection of proper orthotic devices and effective donning procedures. You will learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of orthotic device in order to facilitate clear communications between you and the prescribing physician and other healthcare professionals.
