Osteoarthritis of the Knee

This course covers osteoarthritis of the knee, softgood supports and pre-fabricated orthotics as prescribed by a physician. This course was developed by Brett Qualls, PT, DPT and covers the physiological and anatomical implications of osteoarthritis of the knee. This course will cover the proper selection of devices, fitting instructions and patient interactions.

Having completed this unit, the learner will:

  • Understand physiological & anatomical implications of osteoarthritis in the knee
  • Become familiar with conservative & surgical interventions for osteoarthritis and their implications.
